This can be a frightening diagnosis for a parent to hear. It certainly was for me. It was especially difficult when my son was diagnosed, some 22 years ago, when there was no Internet to help out! All my research was done from the library and letters were typed and mailed!

But I did, by some miracle, find Dr. Goldberg who helped my son tremendously over the years. So the purpose of this blog is two-fold… to share his interview so that others can learn some valuable information from him and also to give parents hope. My son who is now 25 years old is a happy and productive member of society. He has contributed so much to the world and taught us all a lot about life.
